Director of Carrier Relations and Compliance (New York, NY)

We seek a Director of Carrier Relations and Compliance who will report to our General Counsel and be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of carrier (wireless and wireline) relationships, as well as maintaining compliance for multiple product lines while minimizing risks to the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the interdepartmental compliance program.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders at wireless and wireline carriers
• Participate in governing bodies that influence compliance guidelines (MMA, CTIA, ATIS, etc.)
• Monitor key business and process metrics that measure carrier compliance
• Develop and implement compliance audit programs for existing and new products
• Manage, audit and analyze all regulatory, BBB and carrier complaints in conjunction with Customer Care and Legal
• Lead special projects

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in a related field required.
• 7-10 years compliance and/or audit management experience within the on-line marketing industry
• 7-10 years experience in telecommunications industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to analyze guidelines, debate/argue and negotiate a positive solution; ability to deliver presentations to various audiences in clear and concise manner;
• Legal background or legal degree preferred.
• Must be a team player with the ability to excel in an entrepreneurial environment.
